Kosovo Sustainable Development Week (KSDW) is an annual event for sustainable development, which promotes green economy, stable social setting and protection of environment in the Western Balkans region. Each year, KSDW offers a wide range of activities within its programme which encompass political and technical discussions, creative activities with youth, workshops, etc.
For its 5th edition, KSDW is seeking volunteers to join the technical team in the activities which will start from 31 May until 10 June 2022. The volunteers are expected to be engaged at maximum 6-7 hours per day (depending on the duration of the activity) during a timeframe of 10 days. The selected volunteers will go under a meeting with the team in which instructions and tasks will be presented for the events in which they will be engaged.
Volunteers will contribute to a wide initiative which in 5 years has managed to gather more than 1,000 participants, over 400 speakers and implemented more than 80 activities. This poses a great opportunity to young people to meet the community, learn first hand of the issues on sustainability and ways of how an event of this large proportions is organized. The selected volunteers will be the promoters of sustainability to the young generations of Kosovo and the region. At the end of their contribution, volunteers will be equipped with certificates provided by the partnering organizations of KSDW.
The main responsibility of the volunteers will be to assist the Core Organizational Team for implementation of activities from 30 May until 10 June 2022 and hold professionally the tasks assigned by the partnering organizations.
